Amanda Kaletsky is a non signed artist with the song 'Say you believe' We used this song for our trailer 'Piece of cake' as it symbolises love and romance. As our trailer is a slow, moving motion of two young adults in love and blossoms through our trailer from heart ache of her boyfriend betraying her to making a cake together a sign of companionship. This song went really well with the trailer.
When looking for a soundtrack for our trailer we wanted it to have the following qualities:
- A female singer
- To be in the pop genre
- To have some relation to love and relationships
- For the artist to be unsigned
- To have a 'chick flick' feel to it
- To tell a story
- To make the audience emotionally connected to the characters
